The fan systems from EVG Engicon Airtech Pvt.Ltd. can be used in a wide range of applications in the production of dry materials. They are not only used for drying biomasses, such as wood chips, sawdust, green fodder, sugar beet pulp, animal feed and OSB flakes, but also for the processing of grains and other foodstuffs, for drying oil seeds and they are also used in malthouses and drying kilns.
For these areas, we mainly develop single or double inlet centrifugal fans or axial fans up to 200,000 m³/h for drying systems such as belt dryers and drum dryers. In order to process agricultural products into malt, the raw materials must be handled very carefully throughout the entire production process. For the individual process steps, germination, softening and drying, EVG supplies energy-efficient, high-performance radial fans that meet all the demands of modern malting technology. Plant Ireland
The largest and most powerful independent 42.5 MW power plant is being built in Killala, Northern Ireland. The combustion of wood chips from local production produces environmentally friendly and regenerative electrical power. In order to ensure consistent product quality of the raw material used and to optimize the performance of the biomass plant, the high-performance belt dryers are operated by a total of 32 highly efficient fans of EVG Lufttechnik GmbH. The fans have been technically optimized to achieve the required performance with a very compact size. As a result, the extensive expenditure on assembly on site and commissioning has been solved very cost-effectively.
Swiss Combi W. Kunz dryTec AG – Low Temperature Dryer Leopoldsdorf
In the sugar manufacturing process heat is generated in a range of 60-70 °C. This heat source is used in low temperature dryers (NTT) of Swiss Combi to pre-dry beet pulp. This can save natural gas to a great extent, which would otherwise be required for the drying of beet pulp. The required large amounts of air are circulated by 24 centrifugal fans in stainless steel. Therewith EVG accomplish a major contribution to CO2 reduction in the drying beet.

Drying animal feed is a complex process for which the customer requires maximum reliability and extremely high efficiency of the fans. In this case, EVG has developed three customised stainless steel process fans with an installed power of more than 700 kW and with an efficiency of up to 90 %. In this way, we help our customers ensure the very best quality during the drying process.
Swiss Combi W. Kunz dryTec AG – Belt Dryer Egletons
Before further processing to wood pellets sawdust must be sufficiently dried. The EVG centrifugal fans thus drag the warmed air in the heat exchangers through the product layer and the polyester tape of Swiss Combi belt dryer. The air becomes saturated with moisture from the biomass, which is sucked in by the fans and discharged through the chimneys to the environment. The high efficiency of EVG centrifugal fans support our customers effectively in the economic use of natural resources.
